Chris has over 35 years’ experience in business covering line manager and consulting roles across 100+ public and private sector organisations. For the last 20 years she has focused on planning and implementing major change programmes to deliver measurable benefits to both the business organisation and the individuals within it. She has a strong belief in encouraging and developing client personnel at all levels to a point where they can successfully apply change and benefit realisation management techniques to any ongoing programmes.
Specific assignments have involved:
- Engaging with senior level teams in both public and private sector organisations to develop strategies and practical plans to implement benefit driven change. This was achieved through a combination of the facilitation of high level workshops and individual coaching.
- Helping clients to deliver realisable benefits of many £M through their change programmes in Local & Central Government, Finance, Utilities, Pharmaceuticals, Publishing, Retail and a wide range of Manufacturing and Service organisations.
- Managing a wide ranging improvement project to improve the response policing process across the whole of the Metropolitan Police Service delivering measurable benefits in response times, compliance with process and improved relationships. New ways of measuring and reporting performance were developed to ensure continued tracking of improvements.
- Delivering a series of benefit realisation workshops in the Finance Sector designed to assist the organisation to understand requirements of planned major system and business changes necessary to deliver strategic objectives and intermediate benefits.
- Assisting with delivery of benefit realisation workshops in DFID to determine benefits related to worldwide procurement as part of a new system introduction. Helping client to identify key performance measures for tracking the benefits.
- Delivering benefit realisation workshops for Sellafield operations starting from strategic level objectives and identifying changes required to deliver benefits including reduction of risk and improved performance management.
- Helping the London Ambulance Service develop their benefits realisation management approach across their total portfolio of change initiatives starting with strategic board level workshops and cascading the approach through individual programme streams.
- As part of a benefits team, developing and implementing a national benefits realisation approach for the roll out of an NPIA programme, working with both a central team and local police forces.
- Leading the Business Change and Benefit Realisation team as part of a worldwide SAP implementation for a major manufacturer and retailer. Ensuring that all the impacts of the change and the associated benefits were documented and tracked at all stages of the rollout.
- Speaking at a number of conferences on aspects of Business Change focusing on Measurement and Motivation. Training and coaching in Performance Management to deliver concrete benefits.
- Recognising the client needs in complex change situations in order to address both personal and organisational objectives.
